"I have gone to Athalon Physical Therapy to rehabilitate from multiple sports-related injuries and surgeries to my shoulder, elbow and leg since 2004. Jason and Ala always treated each injury with professionalism and care in an office where I was received as a member of the family, not merely a patient. The knowledge, advice, and attentiveness of them and their staff, made my physical therapy sessions both physically and personally productive.”

“I have suffered from various pains attributable to scoliosis since I was an adolescent and at age 30 was referred to Athalon Physical Therapy by my orthopedist in an attempt to alleviate constant hip pain. Upon beginning treatment at Athalon, Ala uncovered that my pain derived not just from problems in my hip but also from problems with my lower back. On Ala’s recommendation, I made an appointment with a new orthopedist who concurred with her assessment and prescribed therapy for both my hip and lower back.
Thanks to Ala’s expertise, I was able to receive the correct diagnosis from my doctor who enabled Ala to effectively treat both pain areas with precision and balance. As I write this testimonial today I am pain free and I cannot thank Ala and the team at Athalon enough.”

Dear Jason and Ala,

I'm also writing because I want to thank both of you (and Joseph) for the wonderful treatment I received.  First, I'm grateful that I was squeezed in for an appointment the day that I saw the doctor so that I could receive two days of treatment before our family vacation (and for your otherwise being able to accommodate me early mornings and during lunchtimes).  There was immediate improvement from the first day of therapy, and were it not for that and the exercises and advice for during the vacation, I would have had a substantially more difficult time getting around.

I found the whole series of therapy sessions to be invaluable.  I feel like I was pushed to do as much as I could, yet restrained from over-doing it, and that all that was done with/for me helped to expedite the healing process.  I'm very pleased that I could start running five weeks after the injury occurred, especially since I'd initially been told to expect 6 to 8 weeks for recovery.

Although I'm not yet 100%, my ankle is now stable and strong enough that I can run and have made improvements this week.  Monday I ran slowly and just 2 miles.  Wednesday was longer and faster.  Today was 4 miles, and the last mile was at my marathon goal pace.  I'll continue to be cautious and conservative, and plan to do the "take-home" exercises that I was provided, as I expect a complete recovery and a speedy return to running form.

Hopefully, I won't need to see Athalon again, but if I do suffer another injury, I'm glad I know that I have a good place to go for treatment in the future.

All the best,
- Dave K.

"I sought out Physical Therapy with Athalon in 2010 after dislocating my shoulder and attended therapy for several months in an effort to avoid surgery. Thanks to the care of Jason and his team, I was able to recover from my injury through intense physical therapy and ultimately avoid the hassle of undergoing a surgical procedure."

“During the past seven years, I suffered a number of sports-related injuries: IT band injuries to both knees, one badly-sprained ankle, one torn quadriceps, a sports hernia, and torn cartilage in my right wrist. Luckily, I discovered Jason Klein and Athalon Physical Therapy. I’ve been back to see Jason for rehab on each of those injuries, and I’ve referred numerous friends and colleagues along the way. Why? Because not only are Jason and his staff highly skilled, knowledgeable, and extremely professional, but I knew right away that their main focus was a genuine and sincere interest in helping me get better. Today, I’m injury-free and in the best shape of my life,
thanks in no small part to Jason Klein and Athalon PT. I can’t
recommend them highly enough.”

"We were a success in getting me to the starting line. I doubted very much in those cold days of winter, when I was laid out with back pain that I would get there, I surprised even myself. Thank you for keeping me running. Thanks for your support and encouragement. It was a great day for me in Boston and not one I will soon forget."

“Athalon treated me for multiple injuries to both my left and right IT band that occurred while training for the 2010 New York City Marathon. Jason and his team are professional, knowledgeable and personable in their approach to physical therapy. As an added bonus to my physical rehab, Jason also contributed to my mental preparation for the race by listening to my concerns and by offering sound advice based on his experiences as a runner.”

“I am extremely lucky that Athalon was able to assist in the rehab of my shoulder following surgery. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, professional, caring and adaptive in their tactics on days in which I suffered from complications or heightened pain. Knowing that my physical therapist was actively engaged with my surgeon regarding treatment, progress and difficulties gave me full confidence about his sincerity in me obtaining maximum recovery.”

I was referred to Athalon by my orthopedist for physical therapy for my left knee. The Athalon team was professional, dedicated and pleasant to work with. I received the proper attention and personal treatment on every visit. I would definitely recommend Athalon Physical Therapy to a friend.
